Stork Food Systems Acquisition

Marel Food Systems and Stork Food Systems have joined forces

Marel Food System’s acquisition of Stork Food Systems took effect on 8 May 2008, after European competition authorities had approved the deal without reservations.

United, the two companies are a forerunner in the development of equipment for the food processing industry, with a pro forma turnover in excess of 600 million euros and close to 4,000 employees.
