Overview
The Marel Opticut volumetric portioning machine is designed to cut boneless meat into fixed-weight portions with uniform shape. The product is placed into a mould where it is formed before being accurately cut.
Cut-off gives way to profit
One of OptiCut’s main advantages is the full optimisation of raw material. With such high utilisation, cut-off is virtually eliminated, resulting in yield of up to 100%.

Accurate portions are delivered either individually or stacked together into a fixed-weight batch. Trim pieces can be removed automatically.
