SensorX bone detection system automatically finds bones and other foreign objects in poultry meat.

It was designed to tackle the chicken bone problem that, until now, has been an unavoidable part of chicken processing. The SensorX scans the product using advanced X-ray technology. Bone-in product is rejected to workstation with display, where bone or other contaminant is removed. Product is then re-scanned for added safety

Although designed for bone detection, the SensorX can easily detect other contaminants such as metal, stone and glass.

The SensorX commonly achieves a 99% detection rate on calcified bones larger than 2mm, with false positives below 3%.
