Dantech

Dantech Food Systems joined Marel in 2005, when it was acquired by Carnitech.
The company was founded in Singapore in May 1997 by Henrik Ziegler and Bent Christiansen - both veterans in the processing and freezing industry. From Asia to the rest of the world, the Dantech brand has built an impressive track record in a relatively short period of time, with more than 500 IQF freezers sold in 10 years.
In 2005, Dantech was merged, under the Dantech name, with Carnitech’s Denmark Division for IQF Freezing and Warm Water Shrimp Processing. The merger created a very strong company and a market leader in freezing, with the most comprehensive range of freezing equipment in the world.
On 8 August 2008, Dantech Food Systems changed its name to Marel, Freezing and Temperature Division, but the valuable Dantech brand name has been maintained.
In 2008, a whole new range of Dantech IQF Freezers has been launched for many new applications. The product range includes the Spiral Freezers, Crust Freezer and the Superflow Easyclean Freezer.
