Promising start at Boston Seafood

Marel‘s presence at the Boston Seafood Show, also known as Seafood Processing America, is off to a good start with many visitors to our newly redesigned booth.

The annual event has over 900 exhibitors and averages over 18,000 visitors. This year´s show is proving to be more successful than previous years for us with double the number of visiting customers to our booth on the first day. We‘ve experienced an increase in visitors from South America and Asia in general, and from China in particular.

Machines of interest
There was plenty of interest in the MSC 180 and SC 125 slicers. The show stopper in this year´s exhibition is the brand-new MS 2730 filleting machine: demonstrations were continuous throughout the day – and customers were in awe of this machine‘s capability,

This year, we have a dynamic group of sales people from China, Chile, Denmark, Iceland, Panama and the USA.
