The Marel M-Check 4800 is a flexible, robust process weigher with a rugged modular Intralox belt for large, heavy items. Suitable for raw meat or products packed in bags or boxes. The M-Check 4800 is designed and built to be incorporated into very wet sections of a food processing plant.

The checkweigher is capable of withstanding intense washing down procedures, the use of stream, high humidity and high belt speeds in conjunction with both packed and unpacked products - while maintaining the same high level of precision.

Reject units

T-pusher
This general reject device is useful for packages of many different types, and can be adjusted to suit the capacity of the individual processing line. Performance: up to 280 items/minute.   
 

Catch arm
This reject device gently pulls packages off the line.
Performance: up to 120 items/minute.

Production Monitor

The checkweighing software controls the weighed items and classifies them as either "accept" or "reject".
Packages can be rejected due to:

• underweight
• overweight
• not weighed
• metal contamination

Histogram Monitor

Feedback software for trend regulation is used to adjust the average weight, either upwards or downwards. The feedback software is available for either automatic or manual trend regulation.

It Integration

The Marel checkweigher series are designed for close integration with Innova, the Marel's intelligent production control software, which provides a complete monitoring of the throughput and enables users to carry out online production control.

The Innova check weighing module makes it possible to report on portion sizes, weight distribution and give-away. Furthermore Innova check weighing allows sharing grading programmes between more checkweighers.
