The Marel Streamline deboning and trimming system is a fully-customised system and can be tailor made to a customer’s specifications, include as many or as few modules as is required. Modules include: trimming according to set specifications, online monitoring via Marel’s Innova intelligent control software, intake and registration, breakdown, deboning and trimming, meat harvesting, individual or bulk packing, freezing, portion cutting, robot batching, sealing and labelling, and palletising.

Critical KPIs are closely monitored and controlled in real-time. These include: yields, throughput and efficiency, giveaway and loss of sales, quality, stock levels and movements and profitability. There is also a built-in traceability mechanism at all levels, ensuring that all product information is registered throughout the entire production process, making recall easier if needed.

Marel’s Innova Deboning and Trimming module supports the Marel deboning and trimming StreamLine and all processes in front of and subsequent to the line, including weighing, grading, portioning, quality assurance, inventory and dispatch. The Innova Deboning and Trimming module has been designed to allow traceability on every part of the animal through all processes, real time instructions, monitoring of yields, throughput and defects, and integrated quality control.
