Overview

The Marel SpeedBatcher creates batches at very high speed, automatically weighing raw material into sub-weights, which are then selectively combined to form the optimum batch weight.

This capability enables the SpeedBatcher to outperform all conventional hopper systems in terms of both speed and accuracy. In addition, the unit is fully automatic from input to delivery.

Food items ideally batched with the SpeedBatcher include fresh pelagic fish for bulk, frozen fish fillets (5 kg boxes), organs, meat by-products and all bone-in poultry products, as well as chicken carcasses.

Flexible approach for individual needs

Marel SpeedBatchers are available as a part of a complete production line, or as standalone units with automatic or manual bagging.

They are offered in several versions, depending on product size and batch size requirements.

Software

Marel Innova intelligent production software monitors and delivers real-time information from the SpeedBatcher during production.

The software provides a complete overview of all aspects of the batching process and its results. At the same time, the graphical user interface allows the user to see and change both the programme and products currently running on the batcher, as well as make reports on critical factors such as giveaway, throughput and efficiency.

Versions

The Speed Batcher is available in four versions:

SBM3000: 0,8 - 10 kg
Batches a flow of small fresh or frozen products, such as pelagic fish, shrimp, nuggets or meat cubes
SB3000: 4 - 25 kg
Creates accurate batches at a very high speed, for a variety of raw materials like pork offals and chicken products
SBL3000: 4 -25 kg
Designed to handle larger products than the standard SpeedBatcher, yet with the same accuracy
SBS: 0,3 - 2 kg
Suitable for small batches of fresh or frozen products. Unique design makes it easy to handle sticky products

Complete production lines

All versions of the SpeedBatcher are designed to operate as part of a complete production line, or as standalone units with automatic or manual bagging.

Automatic bagging

Easily adapted to existing or new automatic bagging machines, the SpeedBatcher can deliver batches to most types. When used with an automatic bagging unit, the SpeedBatcher delivers a fully automated, high throughput production.

Manual bagging

The SpeedBatcher can be delivered with any number of manual bagging stations. Simple, economic yet effective, it is an ideal solution for small or medium sized businesses.
