In the system above, weight information from the end of the line is fed back to the portion cutter after the product has passed along the line, taking into account the re-work station.
This real time data about the complete line performance is fed back to the portion cutter which then adjusts its operating parameters to provide a stable, controlled and therefore optimum operating performance.
