Success at AMI International / WWFE 2007
Marel Food Systems experienced great success at the recent WorldWide Food Exhibition 2007 in Chicago. Food processors from all over USA and South America visited the booth during the four days of exhibition and got live demonstrations on many of the exhibited equipment.
The interest in the latest robot technology for automatic picking and packing food products was immense and the exhibited PolySlicer/IPL robot line from AEW Delford was constantly demonstrated picking and placing shingled salami.
Because of the recent focus on e-coli bacteria the hygienic make of the Carnitech meat grinder got a lot of positive attention as got the Carnitech fat analyzer.
The portion cutters from Marel and Scanvaegt also attracted a lot of attention. In one corner of the booth the ScanPortioner B55 was cutting steaks to extreme accuracies – impressing the visitors to the booth, just like the OptiCut, which cuts steaks to fixed weight in a uniform portion size.
