Results for 2008 presented at meeting with market participants and investors
Marel Food Systems presented its financial results for the year 2008 at a meeting with market participants and investors today at its headquarters in Gardabaer, Iceland.
Hörður Arnarson, CEO, introduced the results and Erik Kaman, CFO, presented the consolidated financial statements, as well as pro forma operations of core business.
The following were among the highlights of the pro forma results of core business for the year:
- €613 million in sales
- 4.4% sales growth from the year before
- 8.5% adjusted EBIT (€51.9 million), an increase of 25.1%
