4th February Marel Food System hosted the 8th International Salmon Show with guests from all over the world from the salmon processing industry.
There were 145 visitors from 20 different countries including several key companies within the salmon business. Together with employees from the Marel Food Systems group there were approx. 220 people attending the show.
The event was running successfully, giving the visitors a good opportunity to see a large range of various equipment for salmon processing from all BU’s within Marel Food Systems. More than 50 standard machines were on display, including several new machines and 5 different production lines which were running with live demonstrations during the entire day.
In the afternoon people had the chance to try out some locally brewed beer tapped direct from a Tuc Tuc, accompanied by some delightful live music. One of the guests were lucky to bring home a LOOP fly fishing rod + accessories which was the prize of winning the quiz that was launched during the day.
After the show the guests were invited to a spectacular dinner arrangement held at the Utzon Centre in Aalborg, a new exhibition facility designed by the famous Danish Architect Jørn Utzon.
