Marel Food Systems has established a new subsidiary in Vannes, France. The new office will take over sales and service activities from Scanvaegt France, AEW Delford and Marel ehf in all industries except in the fish industry.

Marel Food Systems has established a new subsidiary in Vannes, France. The new office will take over sales and service activities from Scanvaegt France, AEW Delford and Marel ehf. in all industries except in the fish industry. Mr. Jean Claude Murat from AEW Delford will head the new office and Jean-Philippe Juguin will be Sales Managar. Mr. Jean Luc Renaud from Scanvaegt France has been hired as the financial controller. Mr. Michel Brun, also from Scanvaegt, will serve as the service manager along with Chrisitian Guennec from AEW Delford. Five other employees have been hired from Arbor Technologies to Marel Food Systems SARL in France, which will have a total of 32 employees.
Arbor served as an exclusive agent for Marel Products for years in the French market and Marel Food Systems will maintain its 50 % ownership of the company. Mr. Gilles Nignon and his staff at Arbor will continue in the fish sector where Arbor will temporarily act as an exclusive agent for Marel Food Systems. This strong new operation will focus on increasing the business in France.
