His Royal Highness Prince Joachim of Denmark visited the Marel Food Systems booth at the DanFish International Exhibition in Aalborg, Denmark. The fishing exhibition DanFish International in Aalborg celebrated it's 20th anniversary this year. When it first started in 1974, the event was only for Danish fishermen, but has since developed into one of Scandinavia's largest and leading international trade fairs.
His Royal Highness Prince Joachim of Denmark is the patron of the DanFish International exhibition. He opened the exhibition with a speech where he expressed his high hopes to the fishing industry. After the opening speech Prince Joachim visited some of the largest exhibitors of the show and was welcomed to the Marel Food Systems booth by Managing Director, Bjarne Rask.
"It was a fantastic experience to have His Royal Highness Prince Joachim visit our booth. He showed great interest in our products, particularly the new RF5 Scancheck Checkweighing machine," says Bjarne Rask. "At the Danfish International exhibition in Aalborg, Marel, Carnitech, and Scanvaegt exhibited as one company- Marel Food Systems. The success for Marel Food Systems was evident in the large number of visitors to the booth."
Marel Food Systems presented the new RF5 Checkweighing machine, which several customers found interesting for the food processing industry. However, the largest success on the booth was the unique Marine Pack System for the fishing fleet.
According to Bjarne Rask the show was a great success. "I was positively surprised with the great demand for our equipment for the food processing industry which only confirms our decision to attend the Danfish International exhibition again in 2009."
