This is the first time that such a major managers' meeting has been held within the Marel Food Systems Group, as the company’s growth has been substantial in recent years. The meeting is a part of an integration process in which individual companies within the group, and agents, synchronize their activities, define goals, and formulate policies.
Among those participating in the managers’ meeting is Philippe Haspeslagh, Professor at the highly respected INSEAD University in France. Haspeslagh is a renowned expert on company mergers and, among other things, is the author of the book Managing Acquisitions, which discusses these matters. He has provided consultancy services to Marel Food Systems during mergers in recent years and is one of the lecturers at the current managers’ meeting.
