The M2200 series is the successor to the highly successful M2000 marine scale from Marel. This compact, sophisticated marine system enables skippers to land catches that are weighed, packed, labelled and ready for sale.
Built to endure
Designed for minimal maintenance the M2200 is accurate, robust and highly stable. Suitable for use with a wide variety of weighing platforms or hoppers, the scale is custom designed to withstand the harsh conditions of a washdown environment. The M2200 is water-resistant to IP67 standards, while its smooth, rounded edges and easy-to-clean surfaces are designed for maximum hygiene.
Complete control
The M2200 can easily be connected to external devices such as printers, barcode readers and labelling equipment as well as network computer systems. The CAN interface also makes it simple to control relays and air valves. The series networking capabilities offer complete overview of both weighing procedures and data as well as equipment control.

Packing scale
Suitable for a variety of packing operations the Marel M2200 is one of the fastest scales available. This robust weighing and packing scale is flexible and easy to use.
Packing hoppers
The versatile M2200 can control conveyors and packing hoppers. It connects to the industry standard CANopen network and has a built-in programming language for custom applications.
Labelling
The M2200 connects to most types of label printers. Various label formats are stored in the scale or maintained from a PC computer.
Sample inspection
A variety of software applications are available for the M2200. Among them a special sample inspection program that registers the piece weight of random samples along with other parameters. All registrations can be saved directly in an Excel spreadsheet.
Time registration
The M2200 has a built in ID brick reader that can be used for access control, time registration, job tracking and to monitor individual worker performance. Easy to use the M2200 time registration station is suitable for both office and factory environments.
OptiPack control
M2200 is used as a control terminal for the OptiPack inventory and order software. All inventory, order, pack and pallet operations are accessible from the terminal with or without a barcode scanner. Each operation can be configured according to task.
Software
MPS - Marel Production Software
The driving force behind all Marel equipment is the MPS Marel Production Software, a user-friendly Windows-based platform designed to put control where it matters, in the hands of the user.
With the MPS software the M2200 system scale delivers packing and production information on-line. The scale connects directly to a PC via Ethernet, making the networking fast and simple.
