Innova consists of individual program modules working together to create the total processing system.
These individual modules control all processing steps including: weighing, grading, portioning, deboning, trimming, quality assurance, inventory and dispatch. Innova’s powerful yield, throughput and quality control features are designed to deliver the most accurate data possible today.
Administration
This module is the kernel of the Innova system. The system is based on the latest technology from Microsoft and runs on the SQL Server database.
Deboning
Innova Deboning monitors and controls deboning processing lines for beef, pork and lamb. Individual de-boners are monitored in terms of weight, yields, throughput and quality defects. The system provides full traceability from animal to pack. Innova Deboning is a control and data capture system for beef and pork plants.
Trimming
Innova Trimming monitors and controls trimming lines. Individual trimmers are monitored in terms of weight, yields, throughput and quality defects.
Grading
Innova Grading is designed to manage and monitor grader applications from Marel Food Systems.
Packing
Provides advanced packing and labeling solution with full inventory and order processing capabilities. It connects to packing scales, batching equipment, packing graders, hand-held terminals and label printers to provide the total packing, labelling, inventory and order solution.
Integration
Innova Integration Services is a proven solution that provides seamless integration between the Innova system and external systems. It supports various interfaces, like XML, text files and web services.
Portioning
Innova Portioning is designed to configure and control portioning machines and to collect portioning data for optimization of processes and process control.
Yield Control
Monitors yield for individual processing lines. The system can use all data capture processes to set up different yield control points.
Documentation
With the document system all kinds of documents can be set up and linked to data in the system. The documents are accessible on production terminals, e.g. quality terminals.
Quality Control
The Innova QC application can be used for quality control inspections for food processing companies. The system handles various inspection items, inspection processes and responses. Results can be viewed on standard or customized reports. Inspections can be directly linked to various production parameters for traceability.




Supplies are received into the system, checked, weighed and labelled. All traceability information is entered and supplies assigned to stock. In the fresh products industry it is vital to control the raw material stock to reduce loss and age products to the optimal stage.
Raw material stock levels are known at all times. Items can be assigned to stock a location as they enter the inventory. For each item on stock, information like quantities, age, expiry dates, location and supplier is important for production planning and scheduling. When items are used for production they are removed from stock and assigned to different production lines, giving accurate information about raw material usage, cost and origin of raw material per production line.

Innova offers advanced packing and labelling solutions with full inventory, palletizing and order processing capabilities. The system provides full support for “work in process weighing”, inventory control, packing, giveaway monitoring and finished goods outer case marking. Orders can be processed online, pallets can be built automatically and all labels printed are based on real time data. End products can be traced back to supplier’s delivery.
Finished goods are moved into inventory or produced directly to stock during the packing process. Products can be palletized and located within the stock. Stock levels are known at each point in time with all relevant data available, such as age, expiry dates and time on stock. With online mobile scanners the inventory transactions are performed scan-by-scan, providing up-to-date information.
Innova makes the delivery of the final goods, with all the necessary information, both smooth and speedy. Goods can be delivered with full traceability all the way through processing and back to the supplier.
