The Marel Service Center provides support and service to customers, Marel companies and agents. Services include installations and customer training, training seminars, spare parts handling and general equipment service requests.
On-site service
Marel service technicians are dedicated to work closely with our customers when the need arises. The main service department is operated at our headquarters in Iceland but our service people are also located throughout the world at our subsidiaries or with our agents.
Remote on-line service
Marel offers remote online monitoring of its systems. Technical and production specialists monitor Marel systems in your plant with periodical checks to ensure system performance.
Service technicians
Not only are our service technicians competent and equipped to take care of whatever issue arises, but also proud of the fact that they have received the best training they can get at the Marel School. All Marel service technicians are required to pass the professional training courses that are offered on three different levels, Basic level, Advanced Level and finally Expert Level at the official educational facility in Iceland.
Held twice a year - spring and fall - the training for each level is concluded with a series of tests and a diploma.
