This notification involves an end-of-sale (EOS) and end-of-life (EOL) notice for the following Marel product, as of 01/10/2011.

816 HMI terminal

The EOS date will take place 3 months from this notification date. The EOS is the last day to order the product, which will no longer be offered for sale from that date.

The EOL date will take place 5 years from the EOS. EOL means that the product life cycle has come to an end and the product is now obsolete. Once obsolete, the product will be supported on a best-effort basis, including spare parts availability. The product will not be improved, repaired or maintained.

The EOS for the 816 HMI has been made in response to critical components for the terminal becoming difficult to source from suppliers.  The following replacement has been provided: 

M6215 terminal

This notice serves as a formal communication of Marel’s decision to end the life of the product noted.
