Overview
The VBS Vertical Buffer has been designed to buffer slice product groups and to re-introduce them into the flow during slicer reload. This maintains a more even product feed which will achieve higher throughputs.
Slicers are often able to achieve faster instantaneous slicing rates than can be handled by robots or operators downstream. Including a VBS in line to provide a more consistent flow of product to the packing area can considerably increase throughput by up to 25%.
