Poultry 101: Demonstrating Our Expertise
Jamie Usrey, Vice President of Innovation, and Jeff Barrentine, Manager, Research and Development, for Marel Stork Poultry Processing presented “Technological Advances in Poultry Processing” during Poultry 101 this week.
Poultry 101 is a three-day, hands-on workshop that introduces participants to the production and processing factors that impact final product quality, safety and consistency. It is offered in conjunction by Auburn University, Texas A&M and the University of Arkansas. MSPP was asked to make the presentation because of our recognized leadership position in developing high-tech processing equipment for the poultry industry.
Attendees were challenged to be the change leaders for the next generation of poultry processing as they were introduced to the latest in innovative technology and solutions that are available and on the horizon for our industry. Attendees also learned about technologies of the past and the advances and research that are making the future possible.
Marel Stork Poultry Processing has a demonstrated commitment to researching new technologies, investing 6-7% of revenue annually in innovation, which is above the average expenditure of competitors in the field. Our people and resources are dedicated to developing an extensive mix of high-tech processing equipment to fit current, emerging and projected needs.
