Marel kicks off its Capital Markets Day 360° mini-series

Marel Iceland – A key hot spot on the Marel map

Today, 7 October, Marel kicked off its Capital Markets Day 360° mini-series with a virtual site visit to its headquarters, manufacturing facility and innovation cluster in Iceland. The tour concludes with a look inside one of the world’s most advanced whitefish processing plants run by Brim, a long-standing innovation partner of Marel.

To give a sense of what it’s like to be visiting Marel in person, the tour also makes a quick stop at the Fagradalsfjall volcano. Ever since it began erupting in March 2021, this geological wonder has been attracting curious locals and tourists, becoming one of Iceland’s top attractions.
