The Goliath dehairing machine is a ‘single-room’ machine equipped with a heavy-duty scraper roller. Two pigs or one sow can be processed in the machine during each dehairing cycle.
A continuous flow of water and a spiral conveyor ensure that hair and nails are automatically removed via a perforated collection channel at the bottom of the machine.
The smooth stainless steel inside the machine and a continuous flow of water along the ceiling and sidewalls ensure minimal contamination, whilst at the same time also reduce bacterial growth to a minimum.
A singeing unit can be mounted in the roof of the machine, with which the pigs can be singed and sterilized all around – and the last remaining hair removed.
The Goliath dehairing machine is also available in a wide version, which is suitable for the dehairing of sows and boars weighing up to 350 kg.
