In a world where sustainability is becoming ever more important and water is an increasingly scarce and/or costly commodity, Marel offers opportunities towards a more circular water usage. Instead of discharging the treated water it can be recycled back to the process area.
Recycling can considerably lower the water footprint of the factory and enables production capacity extension without the use of valuable fresh water recourses.
Water can be recycled to a number of factory processes, such as: cooling tower applications, falling film evaporators, boiler applications, etc.
