Static screens

  • Low maintenance cost
  • Robust compact design
  • Economical option for fine screening
  • Minimal down time

Information

The water enters the screen in an inlet compartment that overflows on one side on to the screen plate. A flow restrictor divides the water over the full width of the screen plate. In the upper part of the screen plate is almost parallel to the direction of the water. In this part the coarse material is left behind on the screen plate.

The screenings will slide down the screen plate with slope, which gradually decreases. As a result the screenings will remain for a while on the lower part of the screen, during which some of the attached water will drain form them through the screen plate. Consequently the screenings will be discharged reasonably dry.
