When Marel opens its Copenhagen demo facility to hundreds of salmon processors from around the world next February, the company will treat guests to a full day program of demonstrations, guest speakers and seminars.
Live demonstrations
The demonstrations of integrated solutions, standalone equipment and food processing software will run in a simulated factory environment with real product, focusing on showing visitors how Marel can help them increase yield, improve the utilization of raw materials and enable full traceability.
Guests will also have the opportunity to walk through simulations of hi-tech processing facilities in virtual reality.

The speaker and seminar agenda will be announced closer to the date.
At the 2019 event, Dag Sletmo looked at some of the ways digitalization is driving the salmon industry forward, and Arturo Clément presented insights into how Chilean salmon producers are using the latest advances to face challenges and secure their competitive position.
The program will conclude with dinner and entertainment in the evening.
