Progress Point in Copenhagen is a unique demo, training and ShowHow facility designed to bring our customers and Marel experts together to experience the full potential of Marel equipment and integrated systems in a hands-on environment.

Customized demonstrations
You have access to facilities that simulate real plant conditions. This gives you the opportunity to experiment, exchange ideas with production specialist and discover what best meets your needs and challenges.
The demo center can mimic a customer’s specific production situation, so processors can see for themselves how well the equipment turns out end products that fully satisfy their requirements.
Training
You can train your teams at Progress Point to best prepare them to run new installations back home. The hands-on environment allows them to learn and experience different challenges without any interruption to your production.
In our training sessions, they have access to on site expertise that gives them in depth training and trains them to use the new equipment. The training aims at upgrading the knowledge and qualifications of your maintenance and operations staff, as well as educating cleaning staff on the impact of their actions.
ShowHows
Marel runs exclusive industry ShowHows for salmon, meat, whitefish and poultry annually or biannually at Progress Point.
These unique events bring together processors from all over the world to explore the latest advances in food processing and hear guest speakers address some of today’s key processing challenges. The ShowHows give processors the opportunity to discover how Marel’s industry leading products can help them organize their daily production and address the critical factors that affect raw material utilization, processing times, labor costs and food safety.
Facilities
Progress Point is housed in a 2,700 m2 custom designed building on a 10,000 m2 site. We can host different groups for demos, visits, product development, training seminars, dinners or networking events. Our state-of-the-art demonstration and training center can accommodate up to 400 people at any single event. Equipment is displayed in realistic conditions that allow you to perform test and develop new end products.
