By putting a weighing unit in the evisceration line or transfer module, it is possible to accurately weigh individual birds. Also each bird’s product quality can be determined. Both weight and quality can be passed to an Innova PDS production control system. This enables solid decision-making on what is to happen to the bird in subsequent downstream processes.
