All shapes and sizes
FRESHgrind ø250 is available for fresh meat and optionally up to fist size frozen meat.
COMBIgrind ø200 and ø280 handles both fresh meat and frozen meat blocks.
BUFFERgrind 250 is self-feeding and designed for continuous grinding of fresh products. The machine consists of a large hopper with agitator and grinding unit. The agitator ensures that the product is fed into the grinding unit, which subsequently grinds the product by using a knife and hole plates.
All grinders can be equipped with different knives and hole plates. Their combination depends on the product.
A bone elimination system is available for all types of grinders. Grinders can be equipped with a single or double knife set. They can operate as stand-alone machines or be part of an integrated processing line.
Dry and clean
Every single grinder is equipped with a robust machine housing, made of heavy duty AISI 304 stainless steel. The screw and screw housing are made from stainless steel as well.
The design of Marel’s grinders has no corners or edges, to facilitate cleaning. The strictest hygiene requirements are met.
The inside of each machine is protected against water and other fluids by a specially designed ventilation system which keeps the electrical, mechanical and pneumatic parts dry and clean.
The grinders are equipped with an interlocked pivotable safety cover over the grinding head.
